We Transform Spaces Into
Community-Building Experiences

Helping mission-driven organizations turn their stories, spaces, and initiatives into experiences that inspire connection and participation.

Are your spaces serving you?

EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES

Your environment is one of the most powerful,
underused storytelling tools your organization has.

We combine strategic thinking, visual storytelling, and experience design to help people
see what matters—and understand how they can become part of it.

Working with Live.Create.Play was a truly fun and collaborative experience for our school community. Through the donor recognition wall and classroom signage, we raised over $3 million in support of our capital campaign, and the final work reflects who we are.

HOW WE DO IT

Story

We uncover what matters and translate it into a clear, meaningful visual narrative.

Space

We bring stories into the physical environment through exhibits, environmental graphics, donor recognition, and placemaking.

Participation

We create opportunities for people to contribute, connect, learn, and become part of the story.

We help organizations answer questions like…

How do we help visitors immediately understand who we are?
How do we celebrate the people who make our mission possible?
How do we inspire greater participation?

How can our spaces strengthen belonging?

WHY US?

Big picture vision. Thoughtful execution.

REAL PEOPLE DESIGNING FOR REAL PEOPLE

How do you design for people, not just aesthetics?

We design around human behavior—how people enter, move, pause, and interact. It’s not just about how it looks, it’s about how it works in everyday life with real world challenges.

What makes your process special?

We are empaths at heart. We have the ability to step into your world, understand the space and the people it’s for, and build something that feels intentional and relevant. Besides, we’re fun to work with.

How do you balance creativity with practical constraints like budget or timelines?

Creativity thrives within constraints. We’re upfront about what’s realistic and present design solutions that work beautifully within those boundaries.

What can we expect at the end of the process?

A space that feels intentional, aligned, alive, and purposeful. Not just something that looks good in photos, but something people actually connect with when they’re in it. You can expect to feel proud to not only live, work, and play in the space but to educate and inspire visitors, staff, students, and community members too.

What if I don’t know what I want yet?

That’s part of the process. We’ll guide you with the right questions and directions, so you can react, refine, and land on something that feels right for your timeline and budget.

Will you actually come see the space, or are you designing from photos?

We come on site whenever possible. There’s no substitute for being there—seeing both the challenges and opportunities the environment presents.

What’s the first step?

The first step is a conversation. We’ll learn more about your organization, goals, audience, and space to determine whether a story-driven environment could support your immediate goal and long-term vision. Start here.
