Easy. Peezy. Breezy.
So one last space remained empty along the back fence. We just gotta complete the line up! Given our love of animals, we collectively decided it had to be a Pet Shop.
By this time, we already had learned how to build things—not the least of which…that it took a “minute”. 🙂
How about if we explored a simpler way of building it? A playhouse kit where all of the pieces were premade and delivered, for assembly on site. And that’s exactly what we did.
I gave my drawings of the playhouse shell as well as my pet cage, animal playing area, and window box visions to a local professional master carpenter and commissioned the first modular playhouse kit. We were overjoyed to receive and assemble the beautiful, new addition to the back fence a few weeks later. Thank you Gilles!
Added bonus: local birds recognized it’s beauty and repeatedly built nests in the pet cages multiple seasons. A true family environment for all!
