A Welcome Transformation
Now with a whole street of shops in place, the shed stood out like a sore thumb. It was clear we had to give it a facelift to visually complete the scene. A train depot seemed appropriate to welcome visitors from near and far.
We built a porch landing with railings, a roof overhang, and added painted accessories to match hues of red and brown. A flower cart, rocking chairs, lanterns, a station clock, and landscaping tools were just the thing. Finally a LMS Station sign set the stage for whatever was yet to come.
